Collection: Maggie Kerrigan

Maggie Kerrigan transforms books into sculptural pieces, connecting the artwork with the book's title or theme. She seeks to expand the original ideas of the author and encourage the viewer to consider broader meaning. Maggie uses a variety of processes, including hand-cutting, folding, paper-casting and more to achieve each individualized concept. She lives and creates in Virginia Beach and has a studio inside the Virginia Beach Art Center.
