Elizabeth Rhoades’ work is characterized by vibrant color and sensitivity to the natural forms and light in the landscape. There is an emotional quality to her work that brings peace and tranquility to the viewer, while at the same time having a distinct vitality through her use of color. A lifetime of plein air painting has provided her with a foundation to accurately depict the elements of the landscape. Elizabeth is a Signature Member of five national art societies, and an Elected Artist in seven national art associations. Her work has been included in over a hundred national exhibitions, including OPA, AIS and NOAPS. She has received over 50 awards for her work.
