Collection: Ellen Sinclair

Ellen Sinclair is a native of Virginia Beach. She graduated from Hollins College with a degree in studio art and studied in Paris, France. After 35 years of experience in interior design she is pursuing once again her love of painting. Ellen is both a studio painter and a plein air painter. She travels extensively for pleasure and plein air events with paints in tow. You can see her work in public spaces around Hampton Roads such as the Taste Unlimited Headquarters, the Kaufman Pavilion Lobby at Norfolk Sentara Hospital, the lobby of the new Sentara Brock Cancer Center, and in the chapel at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church. She was commissioned for the 2018 Neptune Festival poster. She is a member of the Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters, the American Impressionist Society, the American Women Artists , Chesapeake Bay Artist Association, and Laguna Plein Air Painters Association where her art was selected for display in the LPAPA Gallery in Laguna, California.
