Collection: Debra Dartez

As primarily a plein air oil painter, many of my works are created from life as well as in the studio. I’ve had a love of art since childhood and was formally educated as a medical illustrator 20 years ago. The peace and tranquility in nature serve as the main inspirations for my realistic, and slightly impressionistic landscapes. My paintings aim to immerse the viewer in the natural world, allowing them to relate to the scene based on their own relationship with the outdoors. You’ll find me with my kids, out exploring nature, or working in the studio when I’m not painting plein air.
